Should the story be based off of the Sonic the hedgehog series (and involve the Chaos Emeralds and possible second/super forms) or should it continue to be in its original content without involving the emeralds? Give me a reason for your answer if you have one.

Side notes:
- Regardless if it is based off Sonic or not, none of the actual Sonic characters will be in the story.
- Some characters might have a second form regardless of including emeralds or not. They'd just obtain it a different way.


Another thing I figured I'd mention, I am now offering spots in the story for some fan-characters. However, you won't exactly get a big role in the story. The characters with bigger roles get these roles basically because I've known these people for awhile and are good friends of mine. Any additional people that want to be included might only appear once or twice as cameos (for support, encouragement, clues, etc). Do note, just because I'm saying I'm offering cameo positions in the story doesn't mean I'll be able to include them all, so don't whine if you're not in it. The more you whine and get mad at me for not adding you into the story, the more I'll ignore your request to be included.

Edit: By the way, if you're going to want your character in the story, I'm going to need descriptive information about him/her. Example, how they act, how they talk, etc... Also give me a description (OR a picture if you have one available) of what they look like and what they wear (send me a note with this information). If I don't have enough information about your character I can't really put them in it, because I have no detail about them. I will keep everyone's character requests on file and I'll see which ones I can pick out of the pile to be included. Again, not everyone will be in it.

Hey, guys. Read this please, would be awesome.

Most of you probably didn’t see this coming, and I’m certain others have. As you know, I’ve been working on Cosmic Rush for a very long time so far, and have restarted it from scratch at least 7 times. At the rate this current version is going, I’m happy to say that this is the final version, and I won’t be restarting it all over again. Yay!

However, working on this game has been a bother to me (Not always, but sometimes it is). I’m not really sure what the reasons are, but I think it’s the fact I’ve been doing projects based off the Sonic series for long enough, and I've been giving myself huge handfuls to work on.

I want to put Cosmic Rush aside for awhile, and only make it a side-project that I’ll work on every now and then. Why? I want to make other things! I want to make games that are based off my own ideas (my characters and stories). And no, I don’t mean Sonic fan-characters.

This doesn’t mean I’m quitting the project. I will keep working on Cosmic Rush from time to time, and I do hope to get it finished someday. But I think after that is done, I’m done with making Sonic games. This will be the last one, so enjoy it while it’s still in the works, and enjoy the final release (whenever that is).

If I do make another Sonic project, it won’t be anywhere near as big. I’m not wasting another 2 years on a project based off my fandom. As for my stories, I don’t plan on quitting them any time soon.

Alrighty! Been working on Boss 3 a bunch in the past couple of days. For the most part it's done (I'd say about 75% done), but my beta testers are whining that it's too difficult, so it looks like I'm gonna have to do a few changes. XD; Honestly I can't see why it's so hard. For me it's easy! You're probably saying "Cuz you MADE it you dumb Blox you >=O"... Ye..no? Um... So? Fail. All I can say. XD

Just a reminder: I haven't started boss 2 yet. I skipped it and worked on boss 3 cus I didn't make the boss 2 sprites yet. I'll probably make boss 2 next, but that depends what kind of mood I'm in when I'm done boss 3.

P.S. - Happy Halloween!

Running into these retarded errors (which shouldn't even exist) are beginning to piss me right off. One of the sections of the first level completely makes the player stuck in place. And there is no reason for it. For some reason it just doesn't want to work.

EDIT: Fixed the problem said above. The problem written below still exists but I'm working on it. If I can't get it fixed I guess all I can say is "suck it up and play with lag", cus I'm getting tired of trying to fix the lag, it's inevitable. lmao

Now that's just the first part that is bugging up the game. I thought I had gotten rid of the lag, but I was quite wrong. When the file is first opened up, there is no lag. But I found out today that the longer you have the game open, the slower and slower the game plays, until it's critically slow. I'll see how (or if) I can fix this.

The only good news I have to say is I've started working on the third boss. I skipped the second boss, because I didn't have the sprites for it ready yet. I'll do that one later.

I'm beginning to get tired of working on this friggin game.

I wasn't sure what to get you guys for the 70K views. I planned on having some gameplay videos of Cosmic Rush prepared, but the game isn't ready enough to show any of that just yet. When I think it's prepared for video shots, you can be sure to find them on Youtube (which will also be linked on my DA as usual). I can't say for sure when I'll post some videos, but it shouldn't be too long.

Not much else to say here... Sooo I guess I'll just leave it at that. XD
